Branson's handheld converter is designed with the user in mind with an ergonomic grip for comfort and control, and a recessed pushbutton and LED indicator for assured operation.
True temperature control allows the user to specify a temperature range for the sample, the Sonifier will automatically adjust the ultrasonic pulse length to prevent the sample from overheating (requires optional temperature probe).
Advanced control modes includes time and energy mode, energy mode measured in joules, either continuously or in individual pulses. Process monitoring on a scrollable, digital screen provides updates of key variables including power level, energy usage, sample temperature, and experiment progress. For assured repeatability and precision on a greater scale, user can store up to 20 sample-processing programs. Program parameters include continuous or pulsed ultrasonics; time, energy, or temperature control modes; pulse on-time/energy, off-time and total on-time/energy; or amplitude as a percentage. Microtip limit 70%. Other accessories also available.

Geared toward low-volume samples ranging from 0.2 to 150mL, the Sonifier SFX150 delivers up to 150 watts of power. And at 40kHz, it's quiet enough to operate without an enclosure. Unit comes with a 1/8" microtip, 240v, CE.
