ColonyDoc-It™ Imaging Station enables users to process automated, fast and accurate colony counting. The high resolution digital color camera is specifically designed to capture white light and fluorescent marked colonies. Capture colony sizes as small as 0.08mm. The station can accommodate pour, spread and spiral plates and filters with sizes from 33 to 150mm. The system offers researchers detection of bacteria, yeast and mold colonies and decreases time to count. Applications include fluids contamination, microbiology studies, antibiotic testing and hygiene studies.

The GFP Filter accessory includes Visualize Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) colonies by adding the GFP filter to the ColonyDoc-It Station. The station includes blue light overhead illumination which excites the GFP stain on the colonies or sample (Lighting: 50 mm square). The GFP emission filter enables image capture of the fluorescence.
The station doors create a darkroom environment. Users can select from several light sources (darkfield, white light epi and transillumination white light, epi blue light) for illuminating a wide range of stained media. GFP fluorescence detection is possible with epi blue light and optional GFP filter. Slide the filter selector to either of the two positions. A wide range of filters are available from Analytik Jena.
See live preview of the images on the monitor. Automatic colony counting can be generated with detailed statistics reports. The software supports compliance with 21 CFR Part 11. Images can be saved in multiple file formats and data exported to Excel. Parameters including eight color differentiation, split or merge, filter by group or size can be defined. Software Interface : USB 2.0 and Software Compatability : Windows XP (SP-2 32-bit), Vista (32-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit).
